Do I need to print out my tickets?

Once you have reserved and made your payment, an e-ticket will be sent to you by email. Please bring your e-ticket or a printed version of it with you.

When boarding, please present your ticket (e-ticket or a printed version) to the crew members to board the boat.

Do I need to reserve in advance?

It is preferable to reserve in advance because sometimes our cruises sell out.

It is important to be aware that no reservations will be accepted without full payment.

What do I need to know/do before my cruise?

Bring weather-appropriate clothing and accessories (hat, warm sweater, sunglasses, etc.).

And don’t forget to bring sunscreen!

For parents accompanied by young children, consider bringing items such as books, colouring books and crayons, puzzles, dolls, etc., to keep the children entertained during the fjord cruise.

Take advantage of your outing to discover restaurants, coffee shops and other businesses in the villages during your stopovers. If you’d like to enjoy a restaurant meal in one of the villages, it would be a good idea to contact the restaurant ahead of time to make a reservation. A non-exhaustive list is provided on the stopover information pages here.

*NEW* a snack and a non-alocholic beverage are inlcuded with the purchase of a cruise aboard one of our riverboats. You can also bring your own lunch on board, but no alcoholic beverages.

Credit and debit cards are accepted. However, it’s a good idea to have cash with you on board. In certain parts of the fjord, there is no network service.

Want to extend your stay and enjoy several outings or cruises? It would be a good idea to book your accommodations beforehand. A non-exhaustive list is provided on the stopover information pages here.

Enjoy a complete cruise experience thanks to the support of our bilingual guides. Take advantage of their knowledge about, and passion for, the fjord and the villages around it. You’ll learn everything about its history and the culture of the region.

For your comfort, a snack and a non-alocholic beverage are included in the price of a cruise aboard one of our riverboats (no meal service).

You can also bring your own lunch. However, passengers may not bring their own alcoholic beverages on board the boat.

Planning to cycle around the fjord? Perfect! You are allowed to bring your bike on the boat free of charge. Contact us to find out more.

We love our loyal furry friends, but only service dogs are allowed on our cruise boats. No other pet will be allowed on board.

Smoking is not allowed on board.

There are washrooms on all our boats.

Here are the different boarding locations depending on your departure dock:

Departure from La Baie: head to the Bagotville dock, located at 900 Rue Mars, La Baie.

Departure from Parc Aventures Cap Jaseux, located at 250 Chemin de la Pointe-aux-Pins, Saint-Fulgence.

Departure from Sainte-Rose-du-Nord: head to the Sainte-Rose-du-Nord dock, located at 104 Rue du Quai, Sainte-Rose-du-Nord.

Departure from Rivière-Éternité: head to the Parc national Fjord-du-Saguenay, located at 91 Rue de Notre-Dame, Rivière-Éternité.

Departure from L’Anse-Saint-Jean: head to the L’Anse-Saint-Jean municipal dock, located at 355 Rue Saint-Jean-Baptiste, L’Anse-Saint-Jean.

Departure from Tadoussac: head to Zone 1 of the Tadoussac dock, located at 101 Rue du Bord de l’Eau, Tadoussac.

The information will be mentioned again in your confirmation email.

How much time should I allow before the scheduled departure time and where should I park?

Here are the details for each boarding dock concerning the time to allow and parking. All this information will also be sent to you in your confirmation email when you book your cruise.

Departure from La Baie:
Please arrive 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time at the Bagotville dock, located at 900 Rue Mars, La Baie (International Cruise Ship Pavillion).

Please allow time for parking, because there may not be many parking spots close to the dock at the time you board.

Show your ticket (e-ticket or printed version) to the boat crew to board the boat.

 

Departure from Parc Aventures Cap Jaseux:
Please arrive 60 minutes before the scheduled departure time at Parc Aventures Cap Jaseux, located at 250 Chemin de la Pointe-aux-Pins, Saint-Fulgence.

If you are not staying on site, free parking is available at the park entrance, about 1 kilometre from the boarding dock (follow the signs to walk to the beach).

If you aren’t staying on site, you will need to pay the park entrance fee: $8.65/adult, $6.90/child, $25.00/family of three, $5.00/additional child. This will also allow you to enjoy the beach, hiking and fishing before or after your outing on the water!

Departure from Sainte-Rose-du-Nord:
Please arrive 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time at the Sainte-Rose-du-Nord dock located at 104 Rue du Quai, Sainte-Rose-du-Nord.

Parking for cruise passengers is approximately 400 metres from the dock, at the tourist information office at 213 Rue du Quai, Sainte-Rose-du-Nord. Vehicles are allowed to park near the dock for a maximum of 90 minutes only. Tickets will be issued for vehicles parked in excess of this time limit.

Departure from parc national du Fjord-du-Saguenay:
Please arrive 45 minutes before the scheduled departure time at parc national du Fjord-du-Saguenay, located at 91 Rue Notre-Dame, Rivière-Éternité.

If you are not staying on site, parking areas (P1 and P2) are available near the Discovery and Visitors Centre. You will then have to walk 700 metres from the Discovery Centre to the boarding dock.

If you are not staying on site, you will need to pay the park entrance fee: $9.25/adult, free for children ages 17 and under. Take advantage of it to explore the site before or after your cruise!

Departure from L’Anse-Saint-Jean:
Please arrive 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time at the L’Anse-Saint-Jean municipal dock, located at 355 Rue Saint-Jean-Baptiste, L’Anse-Saint-Jean.

You can park your vehicle in the parking lots near the dock and alongside the road, in accordance with signage information. However, please allow time for parking, because parking spots close to the dock are limited to a maximum of 2 hours.

Departure from Tadoussac:
Please arrive 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time at Zone 1 of the Tadoussac dock, located at 101 Rue du Bord de l’Eau, Tadoussac. Wait for us at the boarding gate; we will arrive a few minutes before departure time!

Paid parking is available at 108 Rue de la Cale Sèche, Tadoussac; allow time for parking.
